Taijiwuxigong is a Qigong practice rooted in Tai Chi principles. It is a complete system of self-healing with the basic premise that posture and emotion form a double vicious cycle that creates imbalance and ill health.
Exercises use a combination of breathing, movement (intentional or spontaneous) and mental intention to help to clear sick information and promote regulation of the body and mind. They also include sitting and lying down options for those who may struggle standing. Improved mood and energy levels and increasing flexibility can be experienced as the techniques help to open up the spine, and cleanse the bodys channels and meridians. As you explore this profoundly effective practice, you will begin to take charge of your own journey towards health and wellbeing. In a Taijiwuxigong class every individual works at their own pace and complete beginners can work next to experienced practitioners.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottle of water.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
