Irish Ceilidh Night with The Perfect Cure Ceilidh Band
To set the flavour for the Bristol Irish Culture Festival in March, come to our Irish Ceilidh Night
for an energetic evening of dance. It will be suitable for everyone even if you have never
done any Irish dancing before - this is not Riverdance but social dancing that generations of
Irish people have enjoyed for centuries because it is such fun! All dances are walked
through and will be called when dancing to the music of the Perfect Cure.
The Band
The Perfect Cure Ceilidh Band has a wealth of experience in traditional Irish dance music
gained from many years of playing for Set dances and Ceilidh’s in the UK and in Europe.
Jill Elliot: Fiddle and Caller
In addition to her role as fiddle player in the Perfect Cure, Jill is well known throughout the
South West for her Irish music classes and is also much in demand as a Caller.
Mark Wallis: Melodeon, Guitar.
Mark plays melodeon for set dances and takes up the guitar for Ceilidh dances.
Norma Mills: Piano, Accordian
Norma provides a lively piano accompaniment for set
dances, switching to accordion for Ceili dances.
Together, The Perfect Cure delivers an exciting sound, guaranteed to keep you dancing.
Please note this is a different event to our regular Ceilidh as part of the W.E Irish Culture Festical programme
Tickets are available online, over the phone or in person.
