Tutor Profile

About

Rosemary Dun has been involved in Bristol’s poetry and literature scene for over 20 years. A published novelist, she is also a performance poet and prize-winning poetry and short story writer. She ran and hosted Big Mouth Cabaret, Folk House Open Mic Night, and the poetry tent at Ashton Court Festival. It’s fair to say she loves words.

Rosemary loves nothing better than to inspire new writers and to help them find their unique and authentic voice.

As well as teaching at Bristol Folk House, she teaches on the creative writing undergraduate and M.A. courses for the Open University. She has appeared on television and radio and many festivals and writers conferences. Her courses are fun, sometimes challenging, always supportive, and full of handy tips, advice, and handouts.
