This Book Arts workshop offers a playful, fun, and experimental approach to bookmaking, pushing the boundaries of traditional book forms and crafting unique artistic expressions. During the workshop, students will explore various folding techniques and learn to craft book structures without relying on traditional sewing methods. Specifically, we will delve into Accordion Folds, Envelope Books, and Blizzard Books. These book formats are ideal for creating unique gifts, personalised photo albums and providing creatives and artists of all forms with distinct ways to present their work. Students will leave this workshop with a set of their own handmade books and the skills to make more at home.
Beginners are welcome; suitable for all levels.

Latecomer
If a course has already started, please call the office as it may be possible to join after the start date. This may only be possible if the course is not already full, if it is not disruptive for the other students and you are aware that you have missed a percentage of the course and the tutor will not have time to catch you up. This will be at discretion of the Folk House. We run our courses termly, so it might be best to start at the beginning of the course.
