About

Alicia is an experienced garden designer offering design and planting services in the south west of England. She has spent over 20 years working in the industry, gaining a BA (Hons) in garden design at The University of Greenwich. Upon graduating she specialised in historic garden restoration. It was during this time she was lead planting designer on a Society of Garden Designers award winning project and undertook training at the prestigious arts and crafts garden Great Dixter.

Now working in her own practice in Bristol she produces sustainable designs that, first and foremost, answer the needs of the client, celebrate planting at their heart and provide services to wildlife.

Her approach to teaching is of an explorative nature within the breakdown of the garden design process. She hopes the methods within the course will provide the tools for those interested in designing there own gardens to do so confidently.
