About
Belle is a potter from Bristol who has a First Class Honours degree from Kingston School of Art.
She trained in studio pottery on an intensive two-year course at Clay College in Stoke-on-Trent.
The course is designed to teach practical and in-depth exploration of the craft of pottery. Belle
worked as a Pottery Consultant for the 7th and 8th series of The Great Pottery Throw Down.
Belle seeks to capture a lively and natural loose energy in her work and draws greatly from
surface quality. She makes pots that are either hand-built using porcelain, or thrown on the wheel
using an iron-rich clay.
Alongside making her own work, Belle enjoys teaching throwing and hand-building classes to
both beginner and more experienced potters.
