Margaret Crump

Margaret has had many years' experience teaching ceramics at GCSE and A level as well as in adult education. She is keen to equip beginners with a broad range of skills in hand-building, modelling and using the potter's wheel. With more experienced students she encourages both improvement in skills and opportunities to develop individual projects.

Her classes, which have an atmosphere of disciplined learning as well as friendly conversation, often leave students wondering why the end of the lesson has come so quickly.

Margaret also offers an introductory course in sewing, in which students learn the fundamentals of hand and machine sewing and make basic items and garments.
